not so bad but IMDB has choosen the worst comment

This movie is not so bad. It's not ugly. This is a matter of taste.
But you see in front of this page the worst comment.
It's usual : when it's not a US Film, IMDB choose the worst comment.
Why ?

It has been changed recently, no ?

Never seen the movie by the way.

imdb has the comments on shuffle, i think. and the less helpful a comment is rated the less it is circulated.

that being said, this film is neither ugly nor boring. in fact, it's the opposite. first, it has the sensibility of a new wave pic. and much like the new wave mirrored (or attempted to mirror) Hitchcock, the film stays very new wave (in technique, mainly the "ugly" cinematography; the classic b&w camera-out-a-car-window [ala breathless, the 400 blows, elevator to the gallows] etc., while mirroring 1970's independent american/british thrillers. Gritty and subtle, intense, and internal. Brilliant.

I agree with the commentor on the fact that unless you relate in some way to some of the characters it can be a boring film. I saw it at the Angelika-NY.
I thought it was a great and relevant film to come out in these times, when women are behaving much like men.

Some lines of dialogue that stuck in my mind.
Male character: "We need to talk."
Main female character: "Get the *beep* away from me!"
Female friend: "You should talk to him, you know, you slept with him."
MFC: "So, it's nothing."
FF: "It's not nothing."

Definitly a great movie... less is more in this film... very realistic and just draws very different emotions from the viewer... brilliant
