Anyone have any idea what writer/director Duncan Tucker has done since?

I have googled him and searched around and am puzzled that after the success of this film, he did not make another, and it's now been 6 years. Very strange. And a real shame, as this film is a total gem, and seeing as he both directed and wrote it, he clearly has talent, and heart, and enough cred to pull in great actors, even Dolly Parton for the soundtrack and yet afterwards ... nothing ? Terrible shame.
