Tripe

I consider myself a pretty progressive guy. Vote Democratic usually for various reasons:the environment, secularism, etc., etc. I recently went on a John Kerry kick where I rented this movie and read Unfit For Command. After a balanced analysis, I've decided that John Kerry is a lying scumbag.

I'm a military guy, so I understand how the Swift Boat Veterans can talk about him. It's a small community where word gets around. Thier book about him takes references from his own biography to refute what he says, which is very hard to counter. It makes perfect sense that this guy went into battle with preconcieved notions about what he would see there and a strategy to run for Congress based on the prevailing antiwar sentiment when he got home.

After reading the book it was hard to watch the movie without snickering. Why WAS there footage of him in combat gear, walking around like he was on patrol, when he was in the Navy? Because he brought his film crew.

He's a prima donna that launched his career on the backs of his brothers-in-arms. It's a cynical way to enter politics and one of the many reasons I voted Green.

Ok. And where did voting Green get you? Sometimes you have to pick the lesser of two evils.

The truth is out about Kerry's actions in Vietnam.

His military record was released.

The new Swift Boat Veterans for truth actually commended him at the time he was in Vietnam.

Bush and his cronies did a nice job; and we got stuck with Bush for 4 more years.

Katrina, Iraq, Ken Lay..THANKS SWIFT BOATERS! You made your point and got what you want.

Talk to today's troops in Iraq, I bet they are thrilled with Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.
