This movie is good, and very french.

I think if all film watchers where shown this movie dubbed in their language a vast majority would assume it is french. The heroine is heroic, an ingredient some movies fail to present, without ever explaining the reason she acts like this. It is a twist that she instinctively seems to represent civilization, even if her education is not a point of reference in the film, contrasting people who reasonably represent naturalism, supporting instinct and spontaneity. The countdown to her husband's arrival seems to drop her towards animality but doing her resistance she seems to influence the corps.
