I was expecting more
After all the advertisement I was expecting way more from this film. Some cool moments but I think the story falls through towards the ending.
shareI agree. I like World cinema a lot but whilst I didn't hate the film I gained very little from it. I kept thinking "Why am I watching this when there are so many better films out there"?
shareAll I kept hearing was "If you spoke the original dialect you'd find it hysterically funny". Well, I don't, and I didn't. For a dialogue-driven film you'd think they'd produce better subtitles, but maybe that was not possible. If that was the case then what was the point of releasing it outside Mexico?
I've seen several Mexican films and liked many of them. This wasn't one of them.
