I live here and I don't like the town. When Eugene drivers see a green light, they pause for 5 seconds before they go. Hit the damn gas and lets move! Morons. And the hippies in Eugene smell bad. I'm in Eugene to go to the U of O, and when I'm done with school, I'm outta here! Get a job you filthy, hippy scumbags. Eugene sucks. Go ducks!

I worked on the movie it was an alright job, Cool hanging out with the stars in the movie, but not really my thing though.

I go to school here in University of Oregon. I knew there was some movie production goin on here, but I didn't know it was a serious movie, with some big stars too!! I missed it! Darn! Oh well.. Go DUCKS!! :P

Yep, filmed outside of Villard Hall, right off of franklin. Some theatre students got to be extras! Look for me in the film! You might see me in the background somewhere!

The explanation about how in eugene the people just sit at the green lights, I think that is because they are smoking weed in their cars, or are sniffing that stupid patuli oil the hippies use. I mean people come on, there are a few to many tree huggers, hippy freaks, and dread lock hair waring people here.
I to can not wate to leave Eugene, I have been here all my life and can not stand the people, my neighbors, or here anymore. The only plus side is that it is green. After I finish schooling I am leaving!

There are also too many redneck, gun-toting, right-wing Christian, Wal*Mart praising, "patriotic" republicans driving around with their ridiculously oversized pickup trucks in Eugene and its surrounding areas. At least the hippies won't try to kill you with their "patriotism" and their lack of education.

People like lostbunny is what is wrong with this country... blind by thier reefer smoke, and un willing to see that it is freedom and patriotism that allows them and everyone else the right to have thier own views, to drive thier pick ups and be christian. If it were up to people like this lostbunny he would force thier views on the rest of us and subvert us into thier position... that is a great definition of freedom... but I suppose I can not expect anything out of what to be dictators and rhetoric eating chum feeders like lostbunny. Parts of it were filmed at the Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House too. (Big green Victorian house on the hill above the train station.) I work there and met the props master, but that's all. Anyway, if you're interested in the filming locations, you should come check it out. It's a museum and is open to the public.

All those negative coments about Eugene were sad. It is one of the greatest cities to live on the planet and I've seen a lot of them. As far as nature goes you're surrounded by mountains, beautiful forrests, rivers, the ocean, crater lake! On top of that vinyards, tons of microbrews, awesome coffee and restaurants. The Bijou, Perugino's, the Tango center, Saturday Market, Hult Center, the sushi. There is no place like Eugene and I wish people who didn't apreciate it would just leave.
