Any further deatails about 'The Sisters' from Chekov's play?


I'm interested on any changes that were made in the movie,
and stuff that waren't included in the movie.

Also, what about the end - is this the same end as in the Chekov's play?

I've read about this play on wikipedia

there are many changes and additions as you can read there...

about the end it's written there:
"Solyony kills Teuzenbach in a duel. This does not occur on stage, but a shot is heard and the death is announced shortly before the end of the play, with many of the characters not knowing how to react."

Solyony - Gary
Teuzenbach - David
but I'm not really sure about that, so people who read the play correct me if I'm wrong of course.
