The character of Winnie the Pooh was originally to be called 'Poohey the Win' but just before A.A Milne (the writer) named the bear she drank 5 bottles of whisky and a dozen chocolate eclairs which confused her so much she muddled everything up.
This is all of course completely untrue and made up by me
