I'm 27 years and I love this movie is so cute, and Heffalump Halloween Movie was ok, but you can never be to old watching Pooh movies

reply

I'm pretty young compared to the people on this post, being 13, but i loved this movie. i cried, my godmothers daughter (14 at the time, now 15) cried, and it had a happy ending. i really cant think of anyone who doesnt like sweet movies with happy endings. anyone, young, old, in-between, whatever will like this movie. So, more to the point, no, you cant really be too old to watch pooh movies.

You know what people, my advice to you - read the original Milne's books if you haven't yet. Of course I understand that it's very sweet when people like cartoons, but I don't think it's right when people judge on characters made by Dysney corporation when there's a real written masterpiece.
I was lucky to read Winnie the Pooh tales in my childhood before seing cartoons . And I can say that non of Dysney characters could repeat Milne's charme. So, if u have enough childhood left in yourselves to watch these cartoons, there surely will be enough of it to read the book. Surprisingly, the best Pooh animated movie I've seen has been made in Russia... don't remember it's full name but it was a winner of several festivals and rightly so.

So long as you are young in the heart--no, you are NEVER too old for Pooh Bear!

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

reply

Never! especially when you are a 31 year old father who gets to see them over and over again and actually finds them enjoyable compared to the other " childrens" films out there.

reply

noo. i'm 17, 18 soon. I've watched it like 10 times... i always cry in the end lol

I remember the originals, Holloway, Winchell, Fiedler and Cabot.

I still watch 'And The Honey Tree' & "The Blustery Day' without a problem.

How well can you watch remakes without those vocal talents?

The Saturday morning cartoon was made without Holloway (he had passed on) and I do remember being a bit disappointed in that, but that is hardly the creative team's fault.

When I was 17 and 18 (as well as 31) I would still not hesitate to watch some of the original cartoons.

I just wasnt young when I watched the saturday morning shows, but I'm certain if I had been, I would have enjoyed them as well.

Don't think anything wrong with watching Pooh cartoons. If it bothers you that much, then turn out the lights, lock the doors, pull the blinds down, pop the popcorn and then sit down to a Pooh adventure in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Nope, you're never too old. Winnie the Pooh and all his friends just take me right back to my childhood - love them!

reply

Absolutely not, I am over fifty and still love Pooh movies

reply

Definitely not, I'm 18 and I LOVE Winnie the Pooh, I saw this movie a week ago or so and loved it, I never saw Piglet's Big Movie though, maybe it'll be on TV soon. But yeah, I think you can appreciate (and love) Winnie the Pooh at any age
