Haven't seen the movie yet, but have read several reviews and JBJ was the only good word the reviewers had of the movie. Have you seen Pay It Forward, or U571? I think he did a great job on these!

He's an awesome actor, he'll rock this movie.
U571 was an awsome movie, and he can act pretty good. I worked on this film, and i think the worst that can be said about it is that it is a National Lampoons movie (not particulary my cup o' tea), and that it's been in post-production a little too long. It was a good experience though, and I feel whenever it does finally get released, it will be a good movie, possibly rivaling DORM DAZE.

shareI've been a Bon Jovi fan for over 20 years, and think Jon is a mediocre actor at best. I have seen all of his films and will continue to, but let's face it...He's hot..but not an Oscar contender.

JBJ is not a great actor by any stretch, but he's also not horrible. He's passable at best. He just happens to have charisma by the boat-load.
sharei think he is the best in Row your boat. but his pther works are good too. maybe except vampires (or it was just a bad movie)
shareHe was wonderful in Row Your Boat, and he's done well in many other films including Homegrown and The Leading Man... and once you find out about the man and become a fan- anything he does is worthy of review because he is just that incredible a being!
shareHe's a very good actor. IF given a decent part in a decent movie. This movie (Pucked) was pure crap. I love Bon Jovi but I couldn't sit through it, it was just painful. Even Lawrence Olivier couldn't have turned PUCKED into a movie worth watching!

Jon can act very well when he is given the right part. Alas most of the movies he has been in, excepting U-571, Destination Anywhere and The Leading Man, have failed to use his talents in the appropriate way.
shareJon Bon Jovi is an amazing person. I like his acting. If you do not like his acting you should try seeing him in concert. His last show is Vegas (March 2006)was unbelievable! Since you do not like him as an actor, I would not recommend Vampires -- he did the best with what was given to him, the screenplay was TERRIBLE! In Cry Wolf I thought he did a great job. To each their own.

Ok I'm seeing alot of different opinions here but the fact of the matter is that Jon Bon Jovi is far from being a good actor. I am one of the biggest Bon Jovi fans out there(obsessed?...maybe) and I really want him to be as good at acting as he is at singing, but he's not. He's been decent in movies like pay it forward but when he has a larger part he just doesn't cut it. I mean have any of you seen Vampires: Los Muertos, or Little City? I think it's cool of him to branch out and try acting(as long as it doesn't get in the way of making records or touring-> seen them 5 times this tour and counting) but bless him, he's just not very good at it. I'll definetly watch this new movie, partly for the eye candy i'll admit, hell if I can sit through that Lance Bass movie just to hear a Richie Sambora song that was in it, I can watch The Touble with frank or Pucked or whatever it's called.
