I was surprised that Andrew Davis directed this, 'cause it felt just like An Officer and a Gentleman, just, y'know, in a different branch of the service.

Yes, I was expecting him to fully hoist up his lover, now they're going to get married ya see, and now he is like really SERIOUS about her ((these are all chick values BTW)), and march out of the little school room to wild applause..oh man, give me a freakin' break.
Does anyone think that we now need to see a married man rescuing people? Does being married make you better at everything you do?
