PREQUEL TO WATERWORLD!!

Might be spoiles if you haven't seen this..

Notice both this and Waterworld star kevin costner, this movie takes place in current time where as Waterworld is in the future. In the end of this film after he drops off the helicopter it's suggested that he drowns and that his body is never found, but that he becomes a legend as somebody that lives under the water and helps drowning victims. Now fast forward to the future, Global Warming takes effect and the whole planet floods, Kevin Costner's character from The Guardian has evolved a little to have gills and is the 'Merman' character in waterworld.

Anyone else notice the connection? I'm sure it may have been unintentional but its definately there.

Dammit I was going to post this ,beaten at the finish line again, Oh well.
Yeah the Cheesy ending where they guy they rescued starts blubbering about some imaginary person who saved him is what did it for me
