I got a "topic" for discussion....

Ok, so does she put in the divorce papers???

He signs them, brings them to her, and finally "lets go"... she doesn't seem to want it to end, but she has michael jackson face due to stress in her life with Costner...

Then he dies abruptly.... who gets his pension?!

There's nothing really to discuss.

At the time of his death, She was still legally his wife. His signing the papers does not finalize the divorce. A Judge does that.

True, but he gave her the papers. They were in her possession, surely, at the time of his death. I wonder whether or not she went ahead and gave those papers to her lawyer and completed the divorce.

That would be pointless. With him dead she was no longer married to him. And filing the papers after his death would have been like pouring salt on his wounds. Something she would have never done because she still loved him. She just couldn't be married to a CG rescue swimmer anymore.
