This has-been or should I say (fluke) is a perfect example of not aging well.
He doesn't make a handsome older man, even though he is only 50 or 51 in this movie. His skin is all wrinkled and droopy. His eyes are puffy and wrinkled.
I personally never cared for his looks and felt he was overrated, but if he thinks he still has it, he is highly mistaken fool.

That's his opinion and he's perfectly within his rights to post them here. That's what this board is for, remember? Just because you don't agree with his position that doesn't mean you have to tear into him. Why is the "general liberal response" to those who have differing opinions always so curt and rude? I feel that Costner was washed up by the time this movie was released, but like most "artists" that were great or well known once are vain and or has a big ego and can't see that. But the viewers can.

shareHe was supposed to look old and weathered. It made the role all the more believable. Listen to the bartender's statements about living, loving and experience. Personally I think Mr. Kevin Costner improves with age, like a fine wine.
