is it good?

It's good in a campy/cheesy sort of way. It's pretty goofy. Think more like Krull, less like Lord of the Rings. But it's still fun, and they actually put together a party to go on a quest. Better than the more expensive original.

Its more true to the RPG and has some good moments. I think the lower budget and less known actors actually helped.

The 3rd movie was pretty bad though and has nothing to do with the other movies or even much to do with D&D.
