I want a movie based on the cartoon!

I don't really like D&D as in the board game (bit too complex for my wee brain) but the cartoon rocked! Anyone know if a film version is planned? If not i'm gonna make one (i'm at film school.)

reply

I would second that, and I don't know how old BBD is but I sure am 28 and have very fond memories of that cartoon.

im 25 and couldnt get enough of the show when i was younger. If i ever make it in the film business i am seriously gonna put forward this idea! And i will be VERY faithful!

reply

I didn't know that D&D was a board game.

reply

D&D is a pen and paper RPG but there is infact a D&D board game available and multiple expansions for it.

There is a script of the last episode that was never created.
It's interesting to read.

It is not the cartoon as such, but on the following link it is as a play! http://www.tv-links.co.uk/show.do/2/2864

reply

It's not. It's a tabletop RPG.

Many a year ago I was set to help back the completion of a live action version of Treasure of Tardos. Unfortunately it stalled out and aside from some test filming never progressed past that. Havent heard from the director in a while.
