Wow...
I am watching this movie as I type (actually it is a commercial at the moment) and all I can say is WOW! Nothing like butchering a classic work of literature in a made for TV movie.

I tried to watch it, but I left after awhile. I got tired of all the singing. Why couldn't it have been like other musical movies and only have 4 or 5 maybe6 songs. It seemed like 2 minuetes of talking an 5 of singing.

Get this, for this movie, most of the talking you heard was originally singing in the stage show. Onstage there is a lot less talking then in this movie
