Will it air this Christmas?

Anyone know if it will be on this December? I thought for sure Hallmark Channel would play it.

Sorry, you're wrong about that. I went to the Hallmark Channel website and they have "A Carol Christmas" with Tori Spelling during that time slot. I went through the whole month of December & didn't find "A Christmas Carol" at all. This version hasn't been shown on TV since it was on originally. It's a shame - it's a great version.

This was originally on NBC, so I thought I'd try USA Network since they are NBC's sister channel. I found a movie called "A Christmas Carol" listed for December 21 at 12:00 p.m. and December 23 at 2:00 a.m., but when I clicked on the movie title, I couldn't get a description. I'm not sure if it's the movie we want or not.

It is on the USA network right now (1pm EST in the United States) December 21st.

I don't knwo for sure if this version of A Christmas Carol is playing on TV, and usually they would have a TV airing listed on the movie's homepage if it were, but I can tell you that it is avaiable on dvd. It would be too late to get it in the mail by Christmas Eve, but see if a store will have it.

I'm watching it right now. I TiVoed it on December 24th at 2 a.m. on USA. In fact, I recorded every version I could find this year and watched them all. George C. Scott's version from 1984 is probably my favorite, but while all being somewhat different from the others, it's hard to argue against any of them, including this musical version. The story is certainly a natural for a musical.
