anyone here agrees with me that this movie should be one from the top 100 movies ever?

to be in imdb's top 250 movies, it should have at least 1000 votes or something. Currently it has 48, so it's still a long way. Anyway I don't think it deserves to be in the top 250, there are FAR better Egyptian movies like Ard Elkhouf, for example.

Yes I think it's one of the top 100 movies for a variety of reasons. 1) First epic movie to discuss the colonization of Palestine; 2) The two parts which produce the feeling of both unification and then fragmentation.

My partner is the coorinater of the Toronto Arab Film Festival and she showed it this year to a large audience with an intermission between the two parts. Barely anyone walked out in the intermission; everyone was extremely excited for the second half. Never have I attended a film with this type of excitement.

i think its the best arabic movie ever made
but i only saw the 1st part so i cant judge the whole movie yet

It's a great movie, but NO WAY it's the best Arabic movie, you probably haven't seen much Arabic (especially Egyptian) movies...

LOL. Where is this place? It's Israel, the homeland of the Jews, who lived there 1500 years before the Arabs invaded.
