I heard he hated the direction fox was taking it in, including the laugh track. I also read him and red were gonna leave the show regardless of how it did because of that. Anybody else hear the same?

Uh, in the song "Greedy Bitches" by Ghostface Killah, Red is featured. He states "I'm still spending, from Red & Meth sitcom." I guess he's just happy he made money from it.
shareI hate that the show ended so quickly. I taped about every episode except for one. Other than that I really loved their show it was pretty funny to me.

I vaguely remember this show, but I remember liking it. Apparently there was a dispute with the added laugh track and editing, which pretty much nailed that coffin shut. It's cool to know that they Method Man and Red stood their ground and actually cared about the product.
Because sponges never have bad days.
That laugh track was horrible it sounded like today TV shows laugh track.
shareThe show wasn't going in the direction Method Man & Redman wanted, but they had already signed the contract and really couldn't back out of it. They knew the show wasn't the best and probably wouldn't have done a 2nd season anyways. I'm sure they were happy that it got cancelled in the end. I thought they were pretty good in How High. That was probably the reason they got this show. Method Man is still doing a lot of action even now in 2014. Redman isn't acting anymore though.
I'll have to give some rappers credit for going from music to movies and becoming pretty successful at it. Will Smith, Mos Def, Andre Benjamin, Ice Cube, Ice T, Queen Latifah and even 50 cent has made a decent living with TV & Movies. Not bad. Not bad at all.

I'll have to give some rappers credit for going from music to movies and becoming pretty successful at it. Will Smith, Mos Def, Andre Benjamin, Ice Cube, Ice T, Queen Latifah and even 50 cent has made a decent living with TV & Movies. Not bad. Not bad at all.
