Desperate Higglys

I swear this show has more secrets than Wisteria Lane. Wayne and Twinkle, what happened to their dad? Eubie is raised by his Aunt and Uncle, where are his parents? Was there a Great Higgly Disaster that no one talks about that wiped some of these people out?

Kips parents both look Asian, but Kip's dad's parents are obviously white. They have baby pictures of him, adopted?

How are they all in the same grade in school, are they in a pre-school class? Seems very advanced if it is. Does that mean Twinkle and Wayne are twins? Why is Kip so small? Why is Eubie so huge?

Don't even get me started about how the squirrel can talk, but no other animals (including other squirrels) don't. Of course there is also the weirdness factor for them pulling stuff out of their tummies or hiding in one another.
