Subtle Czech absurdism

One of the user comments notes that this is all drama, not comedy as is asserted by the category.......the Czech seem to have a sense of subtle (or not so subtle) comical absurdism that maybe persons from other cultures (myself included) miss.......the scene where Tonik sits in the newly restored bathroom in a crumbling house with a herd of goats made me laugh out loud.....I was somewhat reminded of the scene in "Divided We Fall" where the two leads pledged their undying love over a dead pig laid out on their kitchen table.
