Acting, Reality and Children in Movies

Something happened in this movie that I have seen happen in countless movies. It believe it is a cause for great concern. When children are too young to realize the actors are acting they become the recipients of emotional trauma caused by the anger, attack, arguments, or screeming perpetrated by the actors towards them or towards others in the cast. The directors should be ashamed to use the vulnerability of young children in sceens that cause them to become not only frightened but completely confused as to why they are being emotionally attacked as the two little boys were in this movie. There is no justification for this kind of abuse to little ones just to forward a plot. The poor mothering skills can be talked about or implied in the movie but to terrorize a child for the sake of a story is wrong and should not be allowed in movies. I will never know the full beauty of this movie because I refuse to watch any movie in which a child's emotional well-being is compromised to "entertain" adults.

It bothered me too, but felt reassured by the many other images of the children quite happy and relaxed. Children cry easily, and as easily are laughing. Not to worry about. I'm sure that after the crying, there were many hugs and kisses.

But speaking of children, these two little boys were excellent "actors," weren't they? Did you notice their faces as they tried to follow the adult conversations?
