I'm watching this movie right now (DVD). It just makes me sick that there isn't any continuing story...I show this movie to a lot of friends they all love it...Think that the character of Ray is just soo sweet! lol.

isn't it a great movie! What a man, that Ray! His entire focus is to be a great husband, father and friend...

I've heard they are making the sequel and they are filming. I hope Skeet and Keri and Mare are all in it. It just would not be the same unless the 3 main cast are in it.

I would love to get my hands on the screenplay for the (presumably defunct) sequel. Or else hold AHC hostage in a cabin somewhere and get her to write a second book.

While I loved "Love Comes Softly", I didn't care for the sequels and I would expect the same of a sequel to this movie. Other than having some sort of drama possibly destroy Ray & Livy's happiness, is anybody going to watch a movie about the mundane aspects of their everyday lives?
