Who else has seen the commercial for this on ESPN and laughed their ass off?
shareI saw the commercial and couldn't help but to laugh. Tom Sizemore looks about as much like Pete Rose as Bea Arthur does Pam Anderson. The only thing they share is the hair and Sizemore's is a wig. He doesn't even sound like Pete Rose. And Tom Sizemore has to have the most unathletic body for somebody portraying an athlete. This movie should air on Comedy Central.

share This was one of the corniest yet funniest things i've ever seen on tv. I recorded this onto my hard drive of my DVD burner and titled it "Hunch's High 5 Fest!" Did anyone else notice the absurd amount of High 5's dished out by Charlie "who's better than us?" Hustle? And I had no idea Pete was on the verge of insanity his entire career. I guess i would be too, if my only friends were a steroid freak that always has posedowns with the mirror and a "bookie" that was mildly retarded and kept giving me the "thumbs up, thumbs down" during my games. At least we know Sizemore can play a sweet Igor in the next Frankenstein remake to cover his rehab/court costs. One of the many mistakes was showing Pete's real highlights at the end, giving even the most unaware Hustle viewer the chance to say "Wow, that really didn't look like Pete at all. Gross."
Maybe ESPN will be foolish enough to use him again, this time as Jimmy Connors in the tennis epic "Rebel with a Racket," or "Live by the Racket..." Hell, i'd watch as long as he did the accent and the hunch. They could get Patrick Swayze to play Borg, that Steve Urkel kid as Ashe, and maybe even Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Billie Jean King...or something. Just kidding, Billie Jean. Maybe if we say our prayers they'll get Barry Pepper to play that "Intimidator" Nascar dude. I could go on all day about my dream movies. I'll stop now.
