I've watched probably two thirds of Heartworn Highways, and love the subject matter but the sound is poor. Have the sound turned all the way up on the dvd and can barely hear.
Oh well.

All I can think is you have a bad DVD or the sound hookup is not right. My DVD sounds incredibly good and has no volume problem at all, I can make the speakers rattle.
I think it sounds fantastic, and I agree that the movie is great.
thanks for replying.. Actually.. it was the DVD player.. not the first brand new dvd with very poor found quality.. got rid of the cheapo Apex and got another dvd.. this one works fine!
