One of the best games ever

This game had me BLOWN AWAY. I thought this would be another movie to game flop but this game is GOOD. The graphics, the characters, the story, the soundtrack, everthing is two thumbs up! I like the way how the game fits into the movie Pitch Black. As Riddick would say: ''Beautiful'' I'l give the game a A+ Another good thing about this game is that Vin and Cole their own voices did. Those One Liners from Vin.... (He trows himself and a guard in a pitt and in the air he says: ''It aint the fall that gets ya'' and then Riddick falls on the guard squasing him on the floor and says: ''Its the sudden stop at the bottom..''

Hope they make another one!!!!!!!!!

the most important thing that i have to notice about BB is that it is not for the weak-minded audience. half-life 2 had a completely delapidated dialogue, that ruined my gaming experience. it was aimed clearly for people under 17 (might as well rate it T).
now Escape on the other hand really puts you into prisoner's boots - in the middle of the darkest god-forsaken hole in the universe, surrounded by walls, infested with sadism, racism, male-rape, filth and so on. and characters act accordingly. haha no wonder it got small audience. nobody can handle the reality of max-security prison.

I agree wholeheartedly with all the above posts. I actually haven’t played the game my self…but I did sit and watch and occasionally directed my close friend while he was playing it (lol). I was simply shocked by numerous aspects and attention to detail in the game. You could just feel and smell the ‘grittiness’ of each level. I totally have a newfound respect for Vin Diesel and hope to see more from Tigon Studios. This is quite simply one of...if not the most amazing games to hit xbox...and to this day it still blows away most of the games currently released.

Funny that 2 of the games I look most forward to on the PS3 are old XBox remakes, Ninja Gaiden and Escape from Butcher Bay.
StarBreeze say that they will add another chapter where the old game ended, they've been talking to Vin Diesel the other week and had him over in Sweden to make sure everything works out as good as it can.
