Missing scenes

First, it's good to see solid family films like this one. I'm curious, however, why the content of the 12 dogs website differs from the content of the DVD. For example, the storyboard on the web site talks about the dogcatcher and his cohorts letting the dogs out of the dog orphanage. The trailer also appears to show that scene. But it's not in the DVD. In another case, the storyboard has Emma and the townspeople confronting the person who runs the dogfights and having him arrested. That doesn't show up in the DVD. I forget the other examples. From what I remember, the website was updated AFTER the film was completed.

Storyboards are nothing more than the directors vision of how he wants the scenes to play out, that doesn’t always work its way into the final movie. Trailers are made months before the movie is ready for release so they can begin stirring up publicity for the film, scenes shown in them are often not found in the final cut of the movie.
