Lovely Songs, Disgusting Scenes.

I've posted this same post up on the movie 'Zeher' but just thought you would like to read it here aswell as it has a few words about this film too.

Absolutely disgusting. Time pass movie, but could have been so much better without all those disgusting scenes. There used to be a time where the whole family could sit down and watch a Bollywood film...how are you supposed to do that now? I realise times are changing and real life should definitely be portrayed in films, but not even Hollywood films are that vulgar. Hollywood films only portray sex scenes if the script is necessary for it. This is more like a porn film (Right along with Murder, where Mallika Sherawat does nothing but flaunt her plastic breasts). How beautiful was that song Agar Tum Mil Jao? And how did they ruin it with that disgusting kissing scene at the beginning. If you're going to kiss, kiss right!lol..For example Karishma Kapoor and Amar Khan kissed in Raja Hindustani in the rain YET it was more romantic, and she was actually covered up. They could have started off with a gentle romantic kiss and she could have been in a sexy asian outfit/sari. (Both films have lovely songs but spoil them with the scenes)
I'm just in shock at films like this, where the plot is overshadowed by sexuality. Yes it happens in real life, but its not what 3 quarters of the film should show. Emraan Hashmi needs a slap.

reply

Hun i totally agree with what your saying, but that's what bollywood has become and what this generation want to see. Even the directors say themselves that sex and nudity sells. BTW i'll bitch slap Emran for you anyday

reply

lol..erm thanks..weird seeing as you're his 'wife' but okay!:-)! he's not even a good kisser though, and the thing is that the essence of Bollywood was actualy laa dee da songs and unrealistic plots. Sure enough bring real life into it, but Bollywood directors can never make serious films. The only good recent attempt was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Black'. A hit and yet had no sexuality whatsoever. I think they're just getting so detached from our culture, that I'm ashamed to say that hindi films are a part of my culture when I see things like this.
It's not even tasteful. Sex/Kisses aren't done for the 'love' between the two people it's just plain sexuality. I don't think sex and nudity sells, Murder was a surprise hit because Emraan gets stuck with all the great songs so he has to kiss to make up for bad acting. His other films have been flops after that! Doen't he feel embarassed in front of his parents? Or the heroines for that matter...what must their parents think?

reply

Again i understand what your trying to say but there is not much you can do about it.If these actresses want to flaunt themselves and wear practically nothing on screen then that is thier choice, i loved the 90's era where all the best movies were made, i just wish they could bring that era back but it's unlikely going to happen.BTW i wish i was Emraan's wife, i mean have you seen the women hes married to now , enough said now smile honey life's too short to get worked up over things.

well you sound like a typical horny male.honey get a life.

Look, I don't consider this a good movie,I don't even have the Hots for Mallika Sherawat- she's too skinny for my tastes. My point over there was about the "Typical Indian Mindset-uh thats dirty" which I so hate. A Normal Matured adult would NOT react in the way she did and I'm not your "Typical Horny Male", I've had lots of pretty girlfriends and get laid almost everyday.I'll show you our pics together if you want.I myself am Indian but I've never gone out with an Indian girl from India(as in not an American or British Indian). You know why ? cause they are so Immatured and Stuck Up with their so called "Traditions". A typical Indian girl doesn't even mention the word Sex or like it mentioned in front of her even if it is unrelated to her.I've heard from my cousin that making out in public in India is banned by Law and that Havaldars or something actually stop couples from doing so and hit the boys with a stick if they catch them making out. What kind of *beep* Up Mentality and Brutality is that? Thats the reason I posted that comment, and I'm NOT your "HONEY"

reply

LMAO Let me tell you something, looking at your posts you sound like a real perv LoL, look i dont want to know about your so called *beep* previous sex life, i mean who cares? as a woman myself i just don't feel comfortable watching every friggin film with the same old *beep* just don't like it ok, and the chick Sanum who started this thread she is making all the sense, it's not all about sex and nudity, but in every bollywood film the industry releases these day, woman are dancing around wearing practically nothing and i really hate that.

reply

Yea and you sound like a Stuck Up Bitch obsessed by the term "PERVERT" What.. r u judjing me by two posts? I've looked at yours and the threads ur on.. Emraan Hashmi, movies like Naqaab etc "I'd like to lick him too". This is the kinda *beep* you talk about. You sound like a 16 year old kid. Go look at my posts, they're on threads of movies like Gandhi(1982),A Beautiful Mind,The Godfather,Salaam Bombay,Maqbool,Gandhi,My Father. Directors like Scorsese,Michael Mann. Anyway you seem to be missing my point.I was talking about the Mentality ppl have in India, Not "how great this movie is because of its Sex Scenes". You said "as a woman myself i just don't feel comfortable watching every friggin film with the same old *beep* just don't like it ok." Who's forcing you to watch those shetty movies ? You find Rakhi Sawant beautiful? Yea... We can see who the Pervert is now. Don't Worry though, it goes well with ur nickname on IMDB.

reply

Who's forcing you to watch those shetty movies ?

No one forces me to watch those kind of film, it every channel that plays the same *beep* over and over again and yeah i like Emran Hashmi, so what???? LMAO i am not attracted to Rakhi at all i just think she is beautiful thats all.LoL
I have misjusdged you as a person so i am sorry. neway take care xoxox

Well, I kinda agree, because many people, as i have heard, take shelter in bollywood movies to stay away from the sexual scenes in hollywood movies, but if bollywood is gonna strat this, then what's the point? Well, however, there are certain dumass actors/directors/producers that make all this happen... Also, the sexual scenes SUCKED. I mean, they just wanted to show you some wanna be porno, but they can't... I hope they go back to the non-sexual, romantic, more SENSIBLE movies, cuz I am soon going to have no more old hindi movies to watch... Besides, the kissing movies always turn out to be a flop anyway, people warn each other beforehand about the scenes, so bollywood... stop trying to become american, stay indian, please, that's the only thing that attracts us, if you lose that, you lose us as well...

I like this back and forth debate, Continue!

I always found it humorous that they would never kiss in Indian movies. They would have a love song and be close to kissing and then stop! But I guess that's changed somewhat. I didn't see this movie so maybe they crossed the line somewhat.

So does this movie suck?

I didn't think so at all. Entertaining

This was a good films and the scenes were not disgusting, they were nice. Emraan Hashmi is a good catch.

"Hollywood films only portray sex scenes if the script is necessary for it."

That was HILARIOUS XD

No, seriously, I've seen an incredible number of occidental films with gratuitous sex scenes. It is even almost A NORM here.

As for the sex scenes in Murder, that's not porn. God, you really have no clue what real porn is ^^

There is ONE and only ONE scene in Murder that can actually be considered as a real sex scene. The scene when Mallika's character sleeps with Emraan's character for the 1st time.

For the other scenes when we see her in Emraan's arms etc, these are sensual scenes, nothing more.
And this definitely doesn't represent 3/4 of the movie, more like less than a quarter.

In my opinion, these scenes looked too forced and faked. Very soap-opera-ish.

Also, it's indeed not a film you can look with the kids, but it's not as if this type of movie was everywhere in Bollywood. I've seen most of the big hindi releases of 2011, and most of them features NO sex scenes or even sensual ones. Not every movie can be "for the family".

Wow, you are a prude! There isn't even any actual nudity in these films. If you want to be really offended you should see the Indian film "Gandu." That film shows actual intercourse on screen. Like in any country, there are films aimed at different audiences; not all of them are for children, or people easily shocked. Not every Bollywood film can feature fully clothed, chaste people singing and dancing in the Swiss Alps. No I think Indian people are too intelligent for that these days. The film "Murder," with the sexy Emraan Hashni, is a sexy, erotic thriller. If you don't like such films then you should simply avoid them and let others enjoy what they like.
