Why isn't this in Disney's Canon?

Could someone explain to me how this movie was made by the same production company as Chicken Little but it isn't a canon film? The canon Disney films are their 'official' animated projects that range from Snow White to Chicken Little to Meet the Robinsons. Why was "The Wild" excluded? How was the case different for The Wild versus Chicken Little that it wasn't put on the list?
