I never quite understood what Michael Scott meant by this question.

Usually people talk about languages and such - if you learn japanese, but you don't use it, you will lose it.

What kind of using is he talking about, and WHAT is he afraid of losing?

I don't think he can mean penis... can he? Obviously you are using your penis when you urinate or masturbate, so even IF he meant that, there'd be no danger of losing it. Also, could someone really seriously think the penis is going to fall off if he doesn't plug it into some hairy, stinky, slimy orifice of someone else's sweaty, ugly body? (Let's face it, a guy like that could never lay a beautiful body unless he's in a morgue or a graveyard)
