To quote the film itself

"So sweet I want to hurl".
Maybe I am just too cynical or maybe it's just that I am over 12 years old. The whole superhero shtick has never appealed and this film is a perfectly ghastly exemplar.

You can't keep a good woman down.

Its comments like this that make me want to hurl. I don't, on the whole care for horror movies. Therefore, my opinion on horror movies is less than valid. If you don't like super hero movies, then you shouldn't be watching them.

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

Totally agree with zaphod08 - the OP can make no valid comment on this movie if he/she does not like superhero movies. Why watch them then if your penchant is to just bash them?

reply

Zaphod08 and CromeRose you can't criticise other IMDb users for expressing a negative opinion on a film that you two may love and say that if they don't like the movie then they should'nt be commenting on the movie or be on here. Everyone on IMDb is entitled to their opinions whether negative or positive and they have the right to express their opinions no matter if guys like you strongly disagree with them. So just respect their opinion and even though you think differently just respectfully disagree and there's an end to it and also you have to respect the opinions and views of others just as you would like people to do to you.

Fair enough Ursulo911 - you are right, and it was nicely put. And I don't usually condemn others for their opinions. However, I just sort of feel that if you hate superhero movies then why watch one just so you can come on IMDB and bash it? Personally, I hate gangster movies - so it would be like me watching all the Godfather movies just so I could tell everyone how lousy I thought they were and how much I hated them because I hate gangster movies. But you see, I hate gangster movies, so I've never seen any of the Godfather films and never plan to. Not saying they are bad movies, and I'm sure they are superbly made and well-deserving of their stature as classics. They're just not my cup of tea.
Anyway, I respect your response to my earlier post, and I'm always glad to see someone who can make an argument without being nasty about it. So thanks for being decent.
