Timeless?

Word on the street. It plays like a godfather marathon (without intermission) including part 4. True?

this is a drama, not a horror film. people just think it's a horror movie, and are disapointed when it's not. I don't know how to describe the movie

reply

it hardly succeeds as a drama though :(

No horror or drama. Thanks for the info.

it's a character piece, not's not about horror, it's about people dying. I think it's well done. if you want action, rent TERMINATOR or something. I love this film. it's more horror then godfather, and what's wrong with a marathon of that anyway :)

I'm just going to say it's a hybrid of the two. it doesn't go too much into drama cause it retains it's horror roots. However it doesn't go too much into horror, since it's still clinging onto dramatic elemetents as opposed to chopping up people to solve problems.

I politely disagree, it succeeds as a drama very well. I cared about this people. I understood where their loyalties, conflicts lie.

I watched this movie with my wife. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It’s evidently a low budget film, and there were a myriad of unanswered question. We wondered what happened to the first zombie in the woods, why didn’t the doctor notice the bloody bandage on John’s neck, how does pumping their bodies full of drugs ease the pain since their hearts ceased beating, why did the pizza delivery guy return to give the receipt after that uncomfortable scene between him and John at the doorway? Needless to say there is a long list of unanswered questions, all of which is totally forgivable because the film was just that good! The way they lay in bed waiting for death that never arrives, the close up of their fingers intertwining as they talk about how much they love each other, Jennifer spending hours putting on make-up because she doesn’t like the way she looked, John playing a mind game with the bird on out his window after he put Jennifer to bed for the last time. Even though I hate zombies that run, I still gave this movie a 10 over 10 just because it had heart and soul. Blood and guts do not define horror, It’s when a young couple loses hope of growing old and raising a child for their future that I call it a horror.
