What are you people talking about Million Dollar Baby SHOULD HAVE WON when in fact IT DID win Best Picture in 2005...?!

Anyway, here's my list:
2000: I'm good with American Beauty
2001: Traffic
2002: Black Hawk Down
2003: The Pianist
2004: I have no idea, weird nominees
2005: I'm good with Million Dollar Baby
2006: I'm good with Crash
2007: I'm good with The Departed but it could have been Babel

Gross, it's one of those people who count Oscar winners by the year they received the Oscar, not by the year the movie was released.

2000 - Gladiator (no change)

2001 - The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (although A Beautiful Mind was still great)

2002 - The Pianist

2003 - Mystic River (Master and Commander and Lord of the Rings tied for a close second)

2004 - Finding Neverland (only one I've seen, so I can't really say)

2005 - Good Night, and Good Luck (Amazing year for films! I'd say any nominated film other than Crash should have won.)

2006 - The Departed (no change)

2007 - There Will Be Blood (Another amazing year. No Country for Old Men and Atonement were both fantastic, but There Will Be Blood is one of the best films of all time.)

2008 - Frost/Nixon (Curious Case of Benjamin Button virtually tied for first)

2009 - Up (I'm completely serious. Up was the best nominated film that year.)

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!
