So...

Why does the creature have anything to do with jack, if it kills people that
weren't even present the night of the accident?

But my real question was actually

Why did the one chick kill paige? She said that she tried to hit the creature but missed and accidently hit paige but as far as i remember they made it look like she commited suicide and later she's back alive and healthy oh but thats right, she just shot her friend...?

Normally don't really dislike lowbudget movies but this one had just a weak story. The acting sucked imo except maybe for the actors that played jack (a little overacted but i guess one of the hardest roles in the whole movie) and the one that played brett (atleast with him i didn't always had the feeling that he was just saying some lines)

I'd like an answer to your first question as well.

As for the second question, the initial intent WAS to have her commit suicide, but then the other actress was unable to complete filming, so the script was re-written to accomodate this.

I'd also like to pose a question that appeared somewhere else in the threads without an answer: What were the first 10 minutes about?
