must admit bad movie but (spoiler)

I am a true fan of Eddie griffin i think he is one of the funniest comedians out there.. but this movie, to m,e was a failure.. except one scene... Let me just say i have never cried n a movie.. But the very ending where she begged him to stay i almost lost it.. but when the little girl started to speak for the first time in the movie and said" Please don't go my daddy left me don't leave me to" that ended it for me i couldn't hold it in any more.. Any body else feel the same way?
