Remake of 'Local Hero'

While this film is nothing but a spot on remake of Local Hero, it still has it's momments. It's worth watching once on cable or if sombody else rented it. It's just not really worth $5.00 or more for rental/purchase imho. The orginal is much better and is one of the sleeper hits of the 80's. This version just tries all to often to get laughs out of the concept of a black man from california taking over an irish pub in Ireland. Some of the joke's work, but most are just a bit to cheesy.
