I have to ask (dubbing)

A friend of mine seems to have this on basically anytime I visit him, and I had to ask: Is the dubbing for this show exact/approximate or is it basically done in the MxC style? I would think it's the latter; the show seems way too absurd to be normal daytime programming in any country much less Japan... then again, look at Bo-bobo.

This show's pretty dumb but damned if it isn't funny at times, mainly because of how the characters have absolutely no respect for the fourth wall in any way, shape, or form.
