As a resident of Lincoln, I was looking forward to this movie. I was very e shot the disappointed. I thought it was pure trash. Many of the facts are just wrong. It doesn't show Carol kill any one but the evidence suggests that she most definitely murdered, at least, 2 people. This was just trash. It's been awhile since I was so disappointed by a movie.

Very disappointing.. I had been reading up on Starkweather for days before I saw this film, and I couldn't honestly count all the mistakes, or times I just shook my head saying "Wrong, wrong, wrong..."
It just upsets me, if you have the chance to make a movie based on a true story, inspired by true events, and even go as far as to portray your film with characters that have same names as the real people, why must they flub them up by going wild with silly creativity, that strays so very far away from what the actual facts are?
I'd be interested in a film that actually follows the events of Starkweather, not some straight-to-video B-movie that just takes various events in his life and changes them around dramatically. Maybe goes on to show that Starkweather had some birth defects, and wasn't "being told to kill" by some shadow cowboy.. LOL at that one..
