Judge sets trial date for 'Max Havoc' case

Guam - Superior Court Judge Michael Bordallo has set a trial date for a lawsuit that stems from the blockbuster flop "Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon". The Guam Economic Development Authority filed suit against the movie's producer, John Laing, and Guam Motion Picture Company after they failed to pay back an $800,000 loan guaranty to the agency.

GEDA had sought summary judgment but the court denied their motion and set the matter for trial to begin on November 7.
