Agreed.

I agree as well. Although you might be joking, this movie does dissect how gambling messes up peoples lives very well... everyone involved.

I just saw this movie, and although it was decent.. It was terribly overdone. Kind of like how teen dramas, aka 90210, or The O.C, Put this like over the top factor on teen problems. This to me felt like it was only telling one side of a story.

Like someone involved with this movie, hated gambling, or had a reason to be biased against it. It went all one way, If you gamble, your life is ruined..Which Just isn't true. I'm quite positive there are people out there, who gamble, and come out on top. Or at least people who have the control to walk away. Instead of everyone who gambles basically ruing their entire lives, and making everyones around them worse.

I know way more people that have ruined their lives gambling than made money off of it. I'd guess 99 out of 100 people who gamble lose. and out of that 99, probably 75 have it severely affect their lives.

reply

I'm not trying to argue that it isn't that way, I'm just saying it isn't all that way.

Come out on top? I wouldn't say it's 99-1 but yea it's lopsided for sure. But people do walk away, go gamble a hundred bucks or so, then drop it.

Gamblers Anonymous dose not endorse outside enterprises,
just to keep out of trouble.

As someone who has been addicted to gambling myself,
I can endorse this movie for anyone thinking about trying gambling.
Remember what DeNiro said in "Casino" "The house always wins."
