Total Turkey [spoiler alert]

This movie has an impressive cast, a tribute to Rydell's clout. With its multiple story lines, I think it was influenced by Crash and Babel; however the film's logic is absurd. Take Ray Liotta. What a loving and understanding husband, accepting the story that his wife, Kim Bassinger is 'at the coffee shop' working on her book, for months at a time. We just don't care. Next Danny DeVito the down on his heels magician. Just an excuse for more of his over the top schtick in the tuxedo and the magic tricks, he is a jerk. Forrest Whitaker, gambling junkie getting his brother to shave points, also nobody cares especially the audience. The list goes on and on. Kelsey Grammar? Tell me something, was he channeling Arthur Bannister (Everett Sloan) from Lady From Shanghai with those crutches he was on, with more than a little Hank Quinlan (Orson Welles) from Touch of Evil thrown in?? Also Grammar's pretentious narration, most of it was probably inserted to keep the story glued together, since most of this movie was falling apart. Instead of calling this film 'Crash Lite' just call it 'Train Wreck'.
