Plus, in the first game when Forest Whitaker's character asks his little brother to win, but to "win by less than 8 (points)", doesn't that mean that Forest Whitaker's character "took (bet for) the other team 'plus 7 (points)'"? To me, that part didn't seem to fit the story very well.
I agree with one of the reviewers here though: The story did seem predictable. I do, however, think that the main actors/actresses did a pretty good job with the acting (and let's face the facts: Carla Gugino, as well as being a great actress is just, as usual, simply h@w+ !!!). Kelsey Grammer's part (character), IMO, fell short though. I felt like it was more a weakness in the writing of the character itself, not particularly any sub-par performance from the actor himself. The part itself just wasn't written well enough / strong enough for Kelsey to be able to work with. Let's face it, you simply can't make filet mignon out of PB&J.
