Great Flick!!

Like you I was never into horrors but I really enjoyed this. I really liked the science argument because I've often wondered if so called demonic possessions exorcised by the man Jesus were really seizures or if Joan of Arc was schizophrenic etc. It's amazing what you chose to believe when you've been told what to think. I believed in the spirit world for years when I was raised Christian and now I smile to myself when I remember what I used to believe, not that I'm anti-religious either.

I agree OP, it was an amazing movie. I love what the story implies. I have never been so much into horror movies. I however, love the premise science Vs Religion, and the fact that it is a true story. I believe the movie had an awesome cast I love Laura Linney, and Tom Wilkinson. It was the first time I saw Jennifer Carpenter (Emily rose) before I knew her in "Dexter" and now the TV show "Limitless". I thought she was pretty good in her role as well. Loved it.

I've never seen Jennifer Carpenter submit anything but outstanding performances. The phenomenal cast in this movie would have NOTHING to debate without HER performance as Emily. Just amazing work, here.

Tnrice in theatre? I can't think of a movie I would do that for.
