What is it!!!
What is this film about. Me and my friend came across it the other day and we didn't understand why it only had 7 votes.
shareEggshells was a film Tobe Hooper made in college, I dont know to much about it, it only has a few votes because hardly any one has ever seen it, you kinda have to go to film school in Austin, Texas to see it.
shareI was a U. of Texas in 1972 when I saw it at the local Art Theatre on Guadalupe St.
Very "experimental" as were all the films of the day, All I can remember is that there was a couple soaking in the bathtub sharing a joint and talking about the Veitnam War, etc. and a series of jump cut with a young man having a sword fight with himself. I thought it was very cutting edge (no pun intended). I'd love to see it again to see how it holds up after 35 years!
It's being reissued now by Watchmaker Films. It's playing around Texas this spring and should be out on Bluray by the end of the year.
