Wow, I didn't expect anyone to talk about Gerry in this forum. I'm a huge Gerry fan myself. When I found out the Gerry-look-alike Jonathan Cake was planning Tyrannus, I automatically glued my eyes to the t.v. screen. Btw, did you guys see Gerry in The Phantom of the Opera? Is that why you guys fell in love with him? And yes, Jonathan Cake is hot!

OMG! You watched Dear Frankie?! How was it? He looks so sweet in that movie. I'm still waiting to watch that movie (but, really, I don't even know what I'm waiting for). Anyhow, my twin and I are obsessed fans of The Phantom of the Opera after watching the stage musical on Broadway last December.
Going back to Jonathan Cake, he's such a hunk and I'm hoping to see more of his work in the future.
yes, i watched Dear Frankie, and he's abslutely wonderful in it!!!!! it's a bittersweet ending, and i cried a little at one point. you HAVE to watch it.
i agree. i'd definitely like to see more of jonathan cake. not sure how much i'll actually see, though. i live in america, and i noticed that some of his work is done in europe. *sigh* and he's a hottie.

Well, you're certainly not the only gal who goes after european guys. I'm from Canada and I ESPECIALLY go after european guys. lol. There's something about their accents that draw me to them all the time! I rarely meet anyone with a foreign accent. The only accents I hear are french accents (from Quebec I suppose).
I will for sure check out Dear Frankie. My twin and I saw the trailer and we literally went gah gah over the trailer (and my brother, as usual, thought we were both idiots).
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who sees a Gerry in Jonathan.
lol. i agree. i love their accents as well. the only time i get to hear these accents are in the movies and occasionally on tv. *sigh* yeah, i never meet anyone with accents either. maybe that's why i love movies so much.
i think it's awesome that you have a twin. two of my friends are twins, but they're not identical, so it's easy to tell them apart.

OK, I just watched Gerry in Dear Frankie and he was wonderful in the movie. Very touching and yes, I got a little emotional from watching a few scenes. I also had trouble understanding what they're saying at times because of their thick Scottish accents. I'll be watching it for a second time just before I return the DVD and I'll be sure to have the captions turned on this time!

Jonathan Cake is way hot. LOL I saw him in this thing on WE called Diamond Girl and I thought he was Gerry. I fell for Gerry when I saw Tomb Raider. He was so hot and so bad in that move.
shareI love Jonathan Cake! I'm judging from the series poster that he is the main character? I'd definitely watch this if he is! If you want to see him in a good movie watch The Girl- he was amazing in it. Very romantic movie.
shareThere's no such thing as too many handsome manly men who know how to handle a sword. Add a bit of bad guy into the mix, and I'm hooked.
John Cake also did a beautifully evil(tm) Nero in "Riverworld" (a sadly underappreciated movie). He's just one of these guys on whom a mix of armour, arrogance and decadence looks hot.
