This show gave me stomach cramp

I love Roman history and I think it is full of all the ingredients for excellent entertainment. So... I rented the DVDs on LoveFilm and watched them.

Oh my God, this show is bad, so horribly horribly bad, 240 minutes of my life that I will never get back.

I know, nobody put a gun against my head and forced me to watch, it is something I did out of free will (although I am not sure about the free will... I was actually convinced it would get better towards the end... wishfull thinking I am afraid).

So please make up your own mind, but please see this message as a sincere warning before you decide to spend any money or time on this horrible horrible horrible show; bad story, horrible acting (the worse bunch of actors ever together in one show) and historical creativity taken many steps too far.

I am going to have to lay down now, close my eyes and hope this show was just a bad nightmare.
