The Heinz's, the Wylers, the Voorhees

Didn't like either of them! Both were complete hypocrites, always putting the blame somewhere else instead of themselves. They were complaining when their servant (his name escapes me at the moment) wanted to move back in with them, and then when he gave his speech/reading from the Bible infront of everyone they took him back in like they missed him, when a few minutes before they were complaining about him! They treated him like crap, and yet I still think he admired them. It saddened me when he talked about looking up to Don as a father figure and then they treated him like that!

And then Carolyn spying on the meetings...if Don had a backbone he would have set punishments for such things as did the 1st Governor did. Carolyn needed to be put in her place, as a 17th Century WOMAN/WIFE...not as a 21st Century feminist self-serving hypocrite.

I think if this really had been the 17th Century...Don would have doomed the colony just because of his arrogance! Anyone notice how much he loved to hear himself talk? Both of them were completely full of themselves!

The Wylers, I think they fully immersed themselves in the roles they were given. I think Jeff was absolutely correct on sticking with the laws of the period, and I wish he would not have given into Michelle not attending the Sabbath and then doing away with the law of punishment. I also think the punishment should have been way worse than 2 hours of sitting there doing nothing. I was really sad when Bethany's fiance died. She had just been saying a few minutes before how much she missed him.
Although I don't think Jeff would have been the best Governor had he had stayed the entire 4 months, but at least he tried to live by the laws of the time and tried to live in the 17th century more so than the others.

The Voorhees....they should not have been there if they didn't want to 'play' the roles they were given as 17th Century Puritans. That's all I will say...although I thought that it was funny when they both disappeared on the boat toward the end...did anyone notice how smiley/glowing Michelle was when they came back? Hmm...maybe they went fishing?
