Mariya Anikanova as Kitty, great!

When I read Anna Karenina a long time ago, I felt fascination with Kitty. I remember turning on pages silently asking the author to let me know more of her.
Recently a russian friend of mine let me briefly enjoy a glimpse at Mariya Anikanovas's work in one episode of Nyukhach (нюхач). Eventhough it looks quite an opposite character, I felt similarly: asking for more of her. I am looking forward to watching the whole series.
Having seen Mariya Anikanova play Yulia as a more powerful woman versus Tolstoi's fragile Kitty, I cannot stop thinking about a connection between these two characters, each of them being a different side of the same coin.
Now I can't wait to watch both series: Nyukhach (нюхач) and Anna Karenina (2009).
Is Kitty's character in this Anna Karenina mini-series version deployed enough?
