It's not a century its like 10 years or 7 because Yu-gi and Kaiba appear in the series and Yu-gi seems the age of Yami Yu-gi and Kaiba hasnt changed from Yu-gi-oh Grand Championship so how are they alive if it has passed 100 years dumb @ss

Its more like 3 years... Jeez... After a certain point, Kaiba makes an appearance in the show... as do the Paradox brothers and Pegasus. And they don't look aged in anyway. Thus, the show does not take place 100 years or 20 years... That's way too big a leap... And the Yugi that runs into Jaden is not an entity... its just lil Yugi... but for whatever reason, they don't show you his face... I guess to withhold the mystery of what he looks like... The fact they used Yami's voice was a mistake on the American dub... Its actually lil Yugi's voice they were supposed to use... but I guess its a way of showing that he's finally grown up... or... who knows... the american dub is usually messed up... so never take it literally... the original is always the best...

To AnimeFreak91, I completely believe you that she's Seto's daughter, I'm just curious where you found that out. I spend hours everyday looking for stuff like that, and I haven't been able to find evidence that he has kids.
And to the other guy who says that Seto makes an appearance in the show, do you know which episode it is?
(And wouldn't that mean that the guy who's Alexis' older brother is Seto's son, which would make sense since he looks exactly like Seto)

Jaden and his little friend (cant remember his name) have got to be connected to setto and yugi in some way because in the second episode i think, the little friend said to Jaden that they were connected in some way and it then showed a picture of them dressed up as Egyptian setto and the pharo.

I think that it is ten years later, because in a later episode, Judai has a flashback to when he was a kid, and he remembers seeing a broadcast of Seto Kaiba announcing...something, though I can't remember what...If it was 20 years, then Judai would be like...25 or something.

In the Japanese version, they don't have their surnames or anything. Based on everything I've seen (episodes 1-68) there is no indication that they are related to the original characters in anyway. But that's from what I can tell watching it in Japanese (I wish I could speak more Japanese...)

Actually, now that I think about it, Dr. Crowler's okay compared to that...that hippie kid with Mokey Mokey. That kid's unnatural aura even turned the beautiful Alexis Rhodes and the intelligent Bastian Misawa into blathering idiots! Though Jaden also did something stupid in that particular episode: he turned down the opportunity to be alone with Alexis. If I were in his shoes, I would definitely choose to be alone with her (and then get her game on).
